TALLAHASSEE, Fla.(WTXL) — Protesters held signs outside Leon County's courthouse.
T-P-D allowing them to go into the middle of the street for three minutes at the top of every hour.

Here's why: Protesters tell us they are standing in solidarity to support those they believe have faced racial injustice ...including George Floyd.

Saturday, many of the protesters poured into the streets ..Sunday...there's a little bit more crowd control to keep the peace.

Cars passing by, honking horns, to show support -- as protesters vow to continue spreading their message -- many have been out all weekend.

"Peaceful protest is a more powerful protest if you can hold yourself back... these last three days we have been very peaceful," Keyshawn Nelson said.

Protesters are asking for a response from State Attorney Jack Campbell and Tallahassee Police Chief Lawrence Revell.

Today they got it participating in a meeting with both Chief Revell, Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil, and attorney Campbell.

T-P-D has released a statement supporting non-violent demonstrations and the right to gather...while keeping the community safe.

In response to the nationwide gatherings ...curfews have been enacted ...including right here in Leon County.

It begins again tonight at 11pm and last through tomorrow morning.
